For the start of 2022, the University of the Pacific’s Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry’s Continuing Dental Education (CDE) division is releasing yet another fantastic set of programs.
Webinars, in-person lecture sessions, and hands-on workshops are all available. Dental practitioners at various phases of their professions are welcome to participate in the programs.
For most CDE-sponsored programs, dues-paying members of the Alumni Association receive 15 percent off regular tuition; recent graduates of the Dugoni School of Dentistry (Class of 2016-2021) receive a 20 percent discount off regular tuition.

This is Not a Drill: Real-Life Medical Emergencies in the Dental Office — Feb. 26, 2022
The lecture course will address the most common medical emergencies found in dental offices, including real-life medical emergency scenarios. Participants will learn the process of recognizing and appropriately determining a course of action.
3rd International Bone Symposium in Implant Dentistry — Mar. 19–20, 2022
Through informative lecture presentations, this bone-grafting symposium will provide oral surgeons, periodontists, prosthodontists, and general dental practitioners with a unique opportunity to increase their knowledge base and comfort level with surgical implant dentistry.
Live Webinar: In Plain Sight: Confronting the Human Trafficking Crisis in the Dental Setting — Mar. 26, 2022
The course will define different types of trafficking, distinguish between sex trafficking and sex work, identify at-risk populations, explain how to recognize and report trafficked patients, and explore trauma-informed care.
Sedating and Managing the Pediatric Patient: A Recertification Course for Advanced Practitioners — Apr. 30, 2022
