With this new and innovative program, Swinburne students will learn how to commercialize their ideas by working on live briefs with companies such as Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Panasonic, St Vincent’s, and Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ).
Students may also find themselves re-imagining learning settings for STEMM, tackling food waste in hospitals, or investigating digital experiences and travel as part of their projects.
Interdisciplinary, experiential learning will assist students if they work on activities that are inspired by their hobbies and interests and participate in placements, internships, or industry-based project work.
Swinburne’s Bachelor of Applied Innovation double degree suite is based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Guidelines’ principles, which inspire students to be change agents.
Students must complete 400 credit points of units of study in order to graduate with a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Applied Innovation. Unless otherwise specified, all units of study are worth 12.5 credit points.
